UPCOMING WEED WRANGLE Saturday, April 30th at 9:00am at Brandywine Park

Weed Wrangle® is a coordinated effort to help rescue our public parks and green spaces from non-native invasive species through hands-on removal of especially harmful trees, vines, and flowering plants. In collaboration with the invasive weed management team from Delaware State Parks and the Friends of Brandywine Parks, you will learn, practice and begin a habit of maintaining an area free of non-native invasive plants and encourage replanting with natives in removal areas. We will weed close to Rattlesnake Run for about an hour and a half. Rattlesnake Run is in Brandywine Park (about 250 yards down the trail that starts at N. Rodney and Gilpin Avenue (behind the Trolley Square Shopping Center).

Wear sturdy shoes and long pants and bring your gloves. Tools will be provided.
