Join Master Gardener, Master Composter, and Master Food Educator, Gail Hermenau for this workshop on composing
Gail has been a volunteer educator for the University of Delaware’s Cooperative Extension since 2004. As a member of the Workshop and Speakers Bureau she presents workshops on composting, healthy soil, seed starting and a variety of vegetable gardening topics. She also volunteers as a member of the community and school gardens committee helping community members both establish community led vegetable gardens and educating them in growing vegetables and managing their materials through on-site composting. In addition, Gail is a current member, and past chair and steering member of Delaware’s Farm and Food Coalition, a member of the Cooperative Extension’s Family and Consumer Science Council, and a member of Delaware’s Farm and Food Policy Council, serving as Chair of the Education and Outreach Committee.
